Hello beautiful Soul!

I live in a small town called Tofino, on the west coast of Vancouver Island. I’ve called Vancouver Island home for most of my life (minus some travelling time - I met my husband in Christchurch, New Zealand!) I’m so grateful to raise Jade, our 10 year old daughter here, and to live in such a vibrant community of like-minded souls who appreciate living a more mindful lifestyle.

Tofino is a feeling.

You can’t quite describe the sort of wind-swept, stormy, salty feeling that you feel as you drive through Pacific Rim National Park on your way in the village.

This small, tight-knit surf community becomes larger than life in the summer time with people coming from all over the world to appreciate the magic of it.

I’m constantly inspired by it’s flora and fauna, people, and the stunning views almost everywhere you look.

The scent of saltwater and cedar fills the air, and you truly haven’t experienced a sunset until you’ve watched the sunset at Chesterman Beach. (I’ve created this travel candle so you can take this feeling of peace with you wherever you go).

Tofino inspires me daily.

My Coastal Candle Collection is inspired by the forests I am in awe of, and the beaches where I dig my toes in the sand and feel the misty air on my face. From the refreshing Chesterman Beach candle, to the Forest Bathing candle that directly transports you to the giant cedars of Pacific Rim Park - these all carry a piece of this beautiful place I call home.

I’m also inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit here. As a small, fairly isolated town, we’re always here to help support and lift up our fellow women-owned businesses:

Take ‘On The Inlet’

Inspired by my time working at the Tofino Botanical Gardens, this area spans along the Clayoquot Sound. You can wander the towering trees here for what feels like forever: the sort of place that makes you feel especially connected to mother nature - it can feel like she’s fully embracing you here.

I want to be able to make this place around me better. Building a business, foraging and connecting to the earth, sharing sustainable products and supporting other business owners is what creates the kind of change that I hope my daughter Jade can be inspired by as she grows.
