Jesse at Tofino Coffee Roasting Co., a Pettinger Point candle from our family-run studio and a
handcrafted chocolate surfboard from Kim and Cam at Chocolate Tofino.

Meet the Makers

Nicole | Fernly Ceramics
There's a certain kind of beauty in the things we reach for every single day. The mug that holds
our morning coffee, the dish beside the kitchen sink, the little pieces that quietly become part of
our homes. That's what I love about Nicole's work. Through Fernly Ceramics, she creates
pottery by hand here in Tofino, turning something as humble as a lump of clay into something
you'll use, love and hopefully keep for years. Not precious things to tuck away on a shelf, but
thoughtful, handmade pieces that become part of everyday life.

Jesse | Tofino Coffee Roasting Co.
Before he was roasting coffee, Jesse was working in fine dining, where he developed a deep
appreciation for flavour and the people behind good ingredients. Today, he brings that same
curiosity and care to Tofino Coffee Roasting Co., the independent roastery he runs with his
partner, Nicole. They work closely with people who share their values, sourcing beautiful coffees
and roasting them with the intention of bringing out what's already there, rather than covering it
up. It's thoughtful, honest craftsmanship, and a lovely reminder that a really good cup of coffee
begins long before the kettle goes on.

Kim & Cam | Chocolate Tofino
For Kim and Cam, chocolate has always been about so much more than satisfying a sweet
tooth. They've travelled to cacao farms in South America and the Caribbean, getting to know the
people and places behind the ingredients they use. Back home in Tofino, they turn that beautiful
cacao into handcrafted chocolates, making everything in-house with a genuine appreciation for
good ingredients and the people who grow them. But what I love most about their story is the
generosity behind it all. They've built a business that cares just as much about the people
walking through their doors as the chocolate they're making. And I think that's a pretty wonderful
thing to be part of..

Tam & Family | The Hobbyist
We hand-pour our coastal-inspired candles in small batches in our Tofino studio, using eco soy
wax, organic cotton wicks and thoughtfully blended fragrances inspired by the place we call
home.

Four independently owned Tofino businesses. One thoughtful gift. A little piece of the
coast, made to be enjoyed slowly.
