If there's one scent that tells the story of The Hobbyist, it's On the Inlet.
Inspired by the quiet beauty of the Tofino Botanical Gardens, where winding trails follow the edge of Clayoquot Sound before disappearing beneath towering cedar trees, this was one of the very first candles I ever created. And five years later, it's still the scent our community comes back for again and again.
Blending rosemary, mint, lavender, and cedarwood, On the Inlet captures the feeling of crisp forest air, calm tidal waters, and the kind of stillness that's becoming harder to find. Fresh, herbal, and deeply grounding, it's a candle that has a way of slowing the pace of a room the moment it's lit.
